The Dr. Pepper sign is one of Roanoke's iconic neon signs that date back to the 1940's. The sign looks like a large bottle cap with the numbers 10-2-4. When Dr. Pepper was first introduced, the market slogan "Dr Pepper Time 10-2-4” promoted the idea that these hours were a good time for a “pick me up.”
