Very sturdy material. Matches not just "611 railfanning" shirts one may have, but a lot of other clothing, too! This one is washable. If it gets wrinkly, you can easily iron out the wrinkles. I will wear it every chance I get!

This hat is first quality. If you like and wear this style, I highly recommend it!
I purchased this for my husband, but he didn't like the shape, which I admit did not look good on him, so he won't wear it. Not a concern to me, as now it will stay nice and clean, and a great souvenir of his 60th birthday ride on the J611.
He looks better in his cowboy hat anyway :)

Beautiful hat! After I missed getting one last July when we saw 611 in Roanoke. I was very happy to get one now. I wear it proudly every chance that I get. Great quality and beautiful look! Get yours before they're gone!

I've been an N&W fan since boyhood in Lynchburg, and doubtless saw 611 in her heyday. I've also ridden behind her many times on excursions, and purchased a hat on the July 3rd trip this year. Unfortunately, I left it on a hotel counter in Atlantic City last month, so I was really pleased to be able to get another one from your web site. (I wish that I could say that is the only thing I left in A.C.!!)

I've been a fan of the 611 since I was a very young child. I've built numerous Class J models on my train tables and this hat is perfect to wear around now that the 611 will be back under her own power!

Rode the train in the early 80's with my oldest children from Lafayette, IN to Danville , Ill. Beautiful experience! It's nice to know that it's making a comeback.

I was hoping for a special hat celebrating the return of #611. This hat fills that need. The bright red material with gold lettering makes it very attractive. I also like the 100% cotton material that makes it very comfortable.
